Lake Romona is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Romona Dam is worth a visit while you're here, and after a long day outdoors Baymont Inn Lancaster is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Pine Lake; don't leave Lake Romona without first going for a hike along the West Rim Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Romona. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lake Romona plunge into the 10's. Some nearby water includes Arney Run; Lake Romona is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Geneva Hills Center is a nice location to camp nearby. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Lake Romona has it all. Good hiking is available along the Gorge Trail, and you can stay the night
at Lake View RV Park and Camp Grnd. From a precipitation point of view Lake Romona is a rather typical location; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month.
