You'll locate a stunning lake called Antonoff Pond near Lake Placid, and going for a hike on the Vondergreen Trail is always a tremendous adventure. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Placid has to offer, you can camp at Chaparral Family Campground, and Americas Best Value Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Cherry Valley Camp       Ground. Near Lake Placid you stumble on the Dogwood Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and a golf course nearby is Lake Front Golf Course & Restaurant. Lake Placid is a good spot of typical precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. If you need a place to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a splendid choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Beaver Creek offers some good whitewater. The Pine Ridge Trail is a glorious hiking trail in close proximity to Lake Placid; float down the rapids of Little Beaver Creek in a kayak. Summertime highs at Lake Placid frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Lake Placid dip into the 10's.
