Lake Placentia, Columbiana County, Ohio     User input for Lake Placentia, Columbiana County, Ohio: Eugene Carroll: The lake was filling up with sediment and was going to turn into a swamp.  They drained it and are letting it dry out so they can dredge it out and then refill it.  It will take several years to do this. Whip: What happened to Lake Plancentia?  Two years ago it was there and now it's empty with everyone's docks high and dry.  Does anyone know what happened? The cheerful folks of East Liverpool-Salem like to hang out nearby, and if you're here you can play some golf at Westville Lake Country Club. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Alliance is a good choice; if you've had enough of Lake Placentia, Conser Run Lake is nearby. The annual rainfall here at Lake Placentia       is about average; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ALLIANCE is a fine spot to get some rest, and Beaver Run is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. All through the warmest time of the year at Lake Placentia temperatures are usually in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down                  into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Placentia. Just can't get enough of Lake Placentia.
