An exciting thing to stop by near Lake Otto is Lake Otto Dam, and after a long day outdoors The Place Off The Square is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. The view of Fox Den Knob from Lake Otto is pretty; if you came for an overnight stay Hidden Hill Campground is a great site to camp. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Lake Otto. Here at Lake Otto you'll probably       meet some folks from Mount Vernon. The annual precipitation here at Lake Otto is about average; July is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Licking River, and Hanover House Bed and Breakfast is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Summertime highs at Lake Otto mostly tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets                  highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Otto dip into the 10's.
