Summertime at Lake Hill arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is a little cooler of course, generally in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Hill dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. There's so much to do here at Lake Hill that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Hill Campground is a great place       for that; a perfect close by hotel is Best Western Adena Inn. If you came to camp Sun Valley Campground is a delightful place to do that, and there's some interesting stuff to spot at Lake Hill Dam in close proximity to Lake Hill. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Paint Creek, and you'll possibly meet some people from Chillicothe here. The yearly rainfall here at Lake Hill is about average; of all the months in a year                  May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Lake Hill. Rocky Fork Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Lake Hill is not the only location close by, Sun Valley Lake is a close by lake. Hit the slopes at Spicy Run Mountain in the neighborhood, of course you could also explore Rustic Acres Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful.
