Sun Valley Lake is a nice lake in the vicinity of Lake Hill, and Paint Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. At Lake Hill all through the summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Lake Hill.
