Lake Forest is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Beech Fork State Park is a glorious local campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting       soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mud River. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Lake Forest, you can go for a hike along the Natural Gorge Trail, and Fitch Hollow is a great location to spend some time. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Huntington, Wv, and going for a hike along the Deer Hollow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. While you're here at Lake Forest, you could                  also have a look at delightful Twin Lake, and the scenery at Lake Forest Dam is scenic.
