There are other locations here than Lake Fichtelberg, for example Lake Lorelei, and splendid hiking is available along the Southwoods Trail. Go for a hike on the Red Fox Trail, and AmeriStay Batavia is a good location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Fichtelberg that you need to camp here for a while, Stonelick Lake State Park is a splendid spot for that; there's magnificent hiking
along the Lakeview Trail. Some close by water includes Sycamore Creek, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Stonelick Creek. At Lake Fichtelberg during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows
sink down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Fichtelberg temperatures descend to the 10's.
