Whitewater paddling is delightful on Little Beaver Creek, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Vondergreen Trail. Camping is available at Terrace Lakes Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Dogwood Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Copeland, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and during       the dark hours in the winter at Lake Copeland temperatures dip to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Big Rock Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; people from East Liverpool-Salem love to come here. From a rain point of view Lake Copeland is a relatively typical location; July is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Youngstown (N. Lima/Boardman)                  is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and camping at Cherry Valley Camp Ground is always a wonderful experience. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant close by hotel is Quality Inn & Suites; since you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Copeland Hills Golf Course. You don’t have to go far from Lake Copeland to observe the water at Lake Copeland Dam, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Pine Ridge Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
