The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Choctaw temperatures       descend to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Hawthorn Loop Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. There's so much to do here at Lake Choctaw that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Valley Campground is a great site for that.                  After a long day outdoors London Knights Inn is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Lakeview Trail. Hiking along the Sugar Maple Hiking Trail is tremendous fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Choctaw has to offer, you can camp at Hidden Oakes Campground.
