The amount of rain that falls at Lake Alma is close to the national average; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. The warmest time of the year at Lake Alma comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Lake Alma. This lake is so wonderful. Red Roof Inn Jackson,       Oh is a delightful location to get some rest; close by you discover the Old Pine Trail which is a nice hiking trail. There's some flowing water nearby, Johnson Run is a stream you can visit during your stay, and an interesting thing to stop at right next door to Lake Alma is Lake Alma Dam. Just can't get enough of Lake Alma. Lakes are nice; Lake Rupert is a lake that's next to Lake Alma; after a long day outdoors Jackson-Days Inn is a good site to spend                  a night or two. Going for a hike on the Chapel Ridge Trail is always a good adventure. A great place to camp here at Lake Alma is Top Of The Caves Campground, and the Acorn Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by.
