on a beautiful lake called Sans Souce Lake near L'Alouette Plumee Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Erie Trail. High temperatures at L'Alouette Plumee Lake throughout the summertime are in the 80's; the nighttime
is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to L'Alouette Plumee Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A fine close by hotel
is Quail Hollow Resort, and L'Alouette Plumee Lake is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Camp Roosevelt is a tremendous spot to camp nearby. From a rainfall point of view L'Alouette Plumee Lake is a relatively normal

La Due Reservoir
 | 15 miles away This is a relatively large lake (1500 acres) located in NE Ohio, at the intersection of state Rt 422 and Rt 44. The lake is managed by the Ohio Division of Wildlife. There are no camps or parks on the shore of the lake. The lake is part of the city of Akron water supply system. Access to the lake is limited to boating/fishing, and gasoline motors are not allowed. If you want to fish this lake, bring two trolling batteries as the lake is large. Fish to be caught include largemouth bass, crappie (white and black), channel catfish, yellow perch, bluegill, walleye and the occasional northern pike (rare, but according to the boathouse attendant, there are a few in the lake).... |
