Don't forget to take a nice little tour to East Branch Kokosing River, and float down the rapids of Clear Fork of Mohican in a kayak. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Knox Lake; through the month of July you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Honeycreek Valley Camp Ground is a brilliant location       to camp, and a lake nearby is Lake Hiawatha. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Mount Vernon is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and hey, Gotta ski right? Snow Trails is a brilliant site to do that. But wait, there's more to do close to Knox Lake. Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park is a perfect campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Kokosing River. Dry warm beds await you at Mt. Vernon Super 8 Motel, and Knox Lake Dam has perfect water                  scenery. During the long summer days, highs generally are in the 80's at Knox Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while Knox Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. The panorama of beautiful Braddock Mound near Knox Lake is splendid. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Hidden Holes Golf Club is a splendid way to kill some time; North Branch Kokosing River Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out.
