Camp Crowell Lake is a good lake close to Kirby Lake; in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellow Creek. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the neighborhood of Kirby Lake has to offer. An out of the ordinary thing to take a look at near Kirby Lake is Kirby Lake Dam, and whitewater paddling is great on Chippewa       Creek. All our national parks are splendid places to pop by, and Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is no exception, and why not head up to Brandywine and strap some skis to your feet. At Kirby Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Kirby Lake are in the 10's. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Camp Hilaka Lake in close proximity to Kirby Lake; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Boston Mills. Stay the night at Tamsin RV Park. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Richfield, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Cleveland-Elyria-Mentor.
