Lancaster Knights Inn is a magnificent place to get some rest, and Kilbarger Pond Dam has wonderful water scenery. There are good sites to look at along the Gorge Trail, and camping is available at Campgrounds. Going for a hike on the East Rim Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and a great place to camp here at Kilbarger Pond is Baltimore Campground. The yearly       rainfall here at Kilbarger Pond is about average; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is regularly the driest month. Throughout the summertime at Kilbarger Pond highs are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Kilbarger Pond temperatures descend to the 10's. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn Lancaster                  is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Pleasant Valley Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
