Do stop by Kilbarger Pond while you're in this part of Ohio. This lake is so wonderful. Kilbarger Pond is not the only location nearby, Greenfield Lake is a nearby lake, and do take a hike on the West Rim Trail. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Pleasant Valley Golf Course; the scenery at Kilbarger Pond Dam is striking.

| | to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Kilbarger Pond. A good close by hotel is Baymont Inn Lancaster, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Gorge Trail. Get wet paddling on Hocking River, of course you could also stop by Hunters Run Conservation District Structure Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all.
