Get drenched paddling on Chagrin River - Aurora Branch, and a good close by hotel is Aurora Inn Of Mario S International. It's a delightful idea to explore Spring Creek, it's near Kenston Lake; you can go for a hike on the Mohawk Trail. Glide down the rapids of Chagrin River in a kayak, and there       are great places to explore along the Mushers Trail. Any time is a good time at Kenston Lake if you adore the outdoors. The skiing at Brandywine is great, as expected you could also explore Lake Taylor while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Kenston Lake. You'll meet a lot of people from Akron here; Geauga Lake Campground is a perfect local campground. This place is unbeatable, just look at all the cool things to do next to Kenston Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Alpine Valley is near Kenston Lake; glorious hiking is available along the Beach Trail.
