If you are in Clermont county it's always a good idea to stop by Jackson Lake. There's so much to do here at Jackson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cozy-dale Campgrounds is a wonderful place for that, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Beechtree Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things next to Jackson Lake. On a wonderful day at Jackson Lake you can take a hike along the Lakeview Trail, and during your journey here

Not far from Jackson Lake, you'll come across Glen Willow Lake which is a striking lake, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Cincinnati-I275E-Eastgate, Oh. You don’t have to go far from Jackson Lake to catch a sight of the water at Glen Ridge Lake Dam; Fairfield Inn And Suites By Marriott Cincinnati Eastgate is a perfect place to get some rest. are pleasant; Glen Ridge Lake is a lake that's near Jackson Lake, and the Southwoods Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Near Jackson Lake you come across a golf course called Legendary Run Golf Course, and whitewater paddling
is wonderful on Horner Run. Paddling on Little Miami River is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Jackson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Miami Trails Hoa. Jackson Lake is a good location of normal
precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Jackson Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's; during summer nights temperatures
are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; night lows at Jackson Lake throughout the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 20's.

Horner Run
 | Horner is a great run with 3 major drops from 6 feet to 10-11 feet, the only problem is the take out. First you could carry the mile and a half out a trail on river left, or go under interstate 275 through a 100 yard long tunnel scout the tunnel first for strainers, third you could walk several hundred yards up to 275 and get out on the interstate shoulder. With all this in mind you might as well say forget Horner and head for Halls creek or Hershel run. Both have way easier put-in's and take out's... |
