This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Beach Trail, and Piersons Knob is clearly visible from Hourglass Pond. There's whitewater on Kellogg Creek for all you adrenaline junkies; why not explore close by Pierson Creek since you're here at Hourglass Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody       but if it's for you then we recommend Chagrin River - East Branch; there are plenty of folks from Cleveland-Elyria-Mentor here at Hourglass Pond. There's so much to do here at Hourglass Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Ho Mita KODA is a magnificent place for that; after a long day outdoors Days Inn Willoughby/Cleveland is a good site to spend a night or two. Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do near Hourglass Pond. Hourglass Pond                  is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Windrush Hollow Camp is a nice local campground; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Blueberry Pond. Good hiking is available along the Erie Trail, and Best Western Lawnfield Inn & Suites is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Hourglass Pond and you like golf, you can go to St Denis Golf Course; as expected, this is a perfect region for folks who like lakes, Heath Pond is a lake in the vicinity. If only every site had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. Hourglass Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. The warmest time of the year at Hourglass Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's.
