Why not stop by Lake Hodgson if you're passing through these parts. Why not go to Muddy Lake Dam since you're here, and you're possibly addicted to lakes, Lake George is one of those nearby. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Lake Hodgson; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January. Hiking along the Beech Ridge Trail is tremendous fun, and you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Brandywine.

| | This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Akron here, and going for a hike along the Mohawk Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Stay the night at Tucaway Lake Campground. After a long day outdoors Akron - Days Inn Kent is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and good skiing awaits you at Boston Mills.

Camp Ground is a brilliant spot to camp nearby, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Kent State University Golf Course. High temperatures at Lake Hodgson during the days of summer are in the 80's, and throughout
summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Hodgson dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. If only every site had this much outdoors
amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. If you come at the right time of year, Cuyahoga River offers some pleasant whitewater; probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Muzzy Lake is just a very short distance away.
Kent Super 8 Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Iroquois Trail.
