At Hills Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Hills Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This spot is unbeatable, just check out all the cool stuff to do next to Hills Pond. A golf course in close proximity to Hills Pond is West's Mogadore Country Club. Lakes?       Sure, Mogadore Reservoir is nearby. Head up to Brandywine and strap some skis to your feet, and a great nearby hotel is Best Western Executive Inn Of Akron. Not far from Hills Pond, you'll discover Hills Pond which is a lovely lake, and you can stay the night at Countryside Camp Ground. This lake is so wonderful. Very great water scenery is available at Hills Pond Dam near Hills Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Hills Pond has to                  offer, you can camp at Cherokee Park Co. A normal amount of rain falls here at Hills Pond; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Kent is a good spot to spend a night or two, and visiting Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Here at Hills Pond there are plenty of folks from Akron, and a day on the slopes of Boston Mills is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful.
