There's whitewater on Chippewa Creek for all you thrill seekers, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Select Cleveland-Strongville/Ap, Oh is a great place to spend       a night or two. You're sure to run into some wonderful folks from Cleveland-Elyria-Mentor here, and there are other locations here than Hayes Lake, for example Pischieri Pond. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be. A fine location to camp here at Hayes Lake is Willow Lake Park, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Rocky River - North Branch. Boston Mills is a very popular ski area close by;                  Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is a very good location to pop by. Throughout the summer months here at Hayes Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Hayes Lake descend into the 10's. An average amount of rain falls at Hayes Lake; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful.
