This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Smiths Pond is a lake in the neighborhood, and dry warm beds await you at Island Club Rentals. A tour to nearby Buckeye Point is very relaxing, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Wetlands Trail. The annual rain here at Hauncks Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains       the most, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Hauncks Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fox's Den Campground is a great local campground, and Lonz Marine Harbor is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. Going for a hike along the Blackberry Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and nearby Ballast Reef is a magnificent spot to go. There's so much to do here at Hauncks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, St. Hazards Campground is a perfect site for that. Hiking along the West Harbor Trail is wonderful fun, and you're possibly into lakes, Wehrles Pond is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. During the months of summer at Hauncks Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's with night lows in the 60's.
