A tremendous place for whitewater paddling close to Harper Pond is Second Creek; you're sure to run into some great folks from Wilmington here. Harper Pond gets a normal amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most while January is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Lakeview Trail. You'll need more       than a day to explore everything Harper Pond has to offer, you can camp at Olive Branch Campground. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Harper Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's while Harper Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. A golf course close to Harper Pond is Bel-Wood Country Club. A brilliant close by hotel is Comfort Suites                  Mason, and Gray Pond is a tremendous lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Harper Pond, for example Elk Lake, and after a long day outdoors Great Wolf Lodge Mason Ohio is a great place to spend a night or two. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Hall's Creek is a great whitewater spot near Harper Pond; brilliant hiking is available along the Southwoods Trail. There's so much to do here at Harper Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Big Turtle Campground is a glorious place for that, and why not take a look at Harper Pond Dam if you're here.
