Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Clear Water Air Park, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Cincinnati-I275E-Eastgate, Oh is a good choice. Hamilton County Anglers Club Lake is a good location of common
precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout May; February on the other hand is the driest. Dry Run is a lovely stream that is worth a visit, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Horner Run.

Horner Run
 | Horner is a great run with 3 major drops from 6 feet to 10-11 feet, the only problem is the take out. First you could carry the mile and a half out a trail on river left, or go under interstate 275 through a 100 yard long tunnel scout the tunnel first for strainers, third you could walk several hundred yards up to 275 and get out on the interstate shoulder. With all this in mind you might as well say forget Horner and head for Halls creek or Hershel run. Both have way easier put-in's and take out's... |
