After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Delaware is a good place to spend a night or two; paddling on Scioto River is so much fun. If you need a site to stay Best Western Delaware Inn is a good choice, and Whitesands Campgrounds is a good local campground. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Greenwood Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and after the                  sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Greenwood Lake drop into the 10's. Greenwood Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Cross Creek Camping is a good place to camp nearby, and a trip to Horse Shoe Bottom revives the spirit. This lake is so wonderful.
