If you are in Brown county it's always a good idea to stop by Grant Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay AmeriStay Batavia is a fine choice. Summertime at Grant Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Grant Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Near Grant Lake you discover the Beechtree Trail which is a

| | tremendous hiking trail; as expected Plum Creek is a scenic stream that is worth stopping at. Any time is a nice time at Grant Lake if you go for the outdoors. A beautiful lake like Watson Pond near Grant Lake is a glorious place to stop by, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Mt. Orab Inn. This lake is so wonderful. The Southwoods Trail is a wonderful hiking trail right next door to Grant Lake; you can run the rapids of White Oak Creek. Grant Lake | |

typically gets a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Stonelick Lake State Park is a great local campground, and
if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Red Fox Trail. You'll find a wonderful lake called Mount Orab Reservoir near Grant Lake, and why not camp at Clear Water Air Park if you're here at Grant Lake. A nice location
for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Grant Lake is Straight Creek; why not visit Mount Orab Upground Reservoir Dam while you're here.
