It's always fun to stop by Gould Pond. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Gould Pond Dam; you'll meet a lot of folks from New Castle here. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. AmeriHost Inn & Suites East Liverpool is a great site to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Fishermans Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The amount of rainfall that falls at Gould Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month is February. Suites E. Liverpool is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and don't forget to take a splendid little visit to Sulphur Run.
This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at East Palestine Country Club is always a delight.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Gould Pond. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Gould Pond
plunge into the 10's. Don't leave Gould Pond without first going for a hike along the Vondergreen Trail, and if you came to camp Crawford's Camping Park is a good site to do that.
