What a nice lake Glen Willow Lake is. Glen Willow Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Clear Water Air Park is a great local campground; do take a hike on the Southwoods Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Cincinnati-I275E-Eastgate, Oh is a great location to get some rest, and not far from Glen Willow Lake you get some great water scenery at Glen Ridge Lake Dam. Horner Run
 | Horner is a great run with 3 major drops from 6 feet to 10-11 feet, the only problem is the take out. First you could carry the mile and a half out a trail on river left, or go under interstate 275 through a 100 yard long tunnel scout the tunnel first for strainers, third you could walk several hundred yards up to 275 and get out on the interstate shoulder. With all this in mind you might as well say forget Horner and head for Halls creek or Hershel run. Both have way easier put-in's and take out's... |
