Ax Factory Run is close to Lake Glacier and is always a diversion to check out; camping is available at Homestead Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lake Glacier you get some great water scenery at Lake Glacier Dam, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Dogwood Trail. Summertime at Lake Glacier comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures       sink down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's while Lake Glacier nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Lakes are such serene locations, why not take a look at Rose Lake next to Lake Glacier, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Little Beaver Creek. There are other sites here than Lake Glacier, for example Newport Lake; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Girard Ohio. This lake is                  so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn & Suites North is a great choice. From a rain point of view Lake Glacier is a rather normal place; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. This place, Lake Glacier, it truly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. If you came for an overnight stay Homestead RV Sales and Campgrounds is a good location to camp, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Pine Ridge Trail.
