High temperatures at Gier Pond all through the summer are in the 80's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Gier Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Little Miami River is a great whitewater spot close to Gier Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Beechtree       Trail. After a long day outdoors Wingate by Wyndham Erlanger is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp while you're here at Gier Pond. Why not have a look at nearby North Branch Sycamore Creek if you're here at Gier Pond; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Horner Run.
