Gier Pond is always a pleasure to visit. At Gier Pond you always meet someone from Cincinnati-Middletown; if you need a place to stay Wingate by Wyndham Erlanger is a fine choice. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Lake Isabella is a lake nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Miami River offers some glorious whitewater. Gier Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Gier Pond Dam in the neighborhood of Gier Pond, and good hiking is available along the Beechtree Trail.
