The Mushers Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Lake George; for you golfers we recommend nearby Kent State University Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Akron here, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express       Hotel & Suites KENT STATE UNIVERSITY is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. What a site this is for outdoors people. If you need a place to stay Microtel Inn And Suites Cleveland Streetsboro is a magnificent choice, and what would winter be without some skiing at Brandywine. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Lake George; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Life's too short to enjoy all                  the entertaining things in close proximity to Lake George. Lake Rockwell Dam is a scenic location right next door to Lake George, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Mohawk Trail. Tucaway Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Boston Mills while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Cuyahoga River, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Breakneck Creek. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Lake George reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lake George temperatures descend to the 10's. Near Lake George you stumble on the Iroquois Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes?
