Don't leave Lake George without first going for a hike along the Mushers Trail; hey, Breakneck Creek is a great local stream. Lake George gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is January. During the warmest time of the year here at Lake George, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the       60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake George temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mohawk Trail, and camping is available at Tucaway Lake Campground. Not far from Lake George you obtain some fine water scenery at Lake Rockwell Dam, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Boston Mills. Hiking is a popular thing to do                  around Lake George; Iroquois Trail is a perfect local trail; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Kent State University Golf Course is in the vicinity. Having a magnificent time at Lake George is simple. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cuyahoga River. This lake is so wonderful.
