The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake George is close to the national average; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the       months is January. Get covered with water paddling on Little Beaver Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Good's wood Campground is a good spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake George; Dogwood Trail is a delightful local trail, and if you've had enough of Lake George, Rod Lake is nearby. You're sure to run into some friendly people from Weirton-Steubenville here, and Hollow Rock Campground is a great                  local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
