During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Fred Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available
along the Southwoods Trail, and Fred Lake Dam is a gorgeous location. You can run the rapids of Caesar Creek near Fred Lake, and there are delightful spots to explore along the Lakeview Trail.
An average amount of rain falls at Fred Lake; May is when you get the most rain here; January on the other hand is the driest.
