Factory Pond is right by the Lakeview Trail, and if you need a place to stay Country Hearth Inn Urbana is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime at Factory Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Factory Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A great       nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Urbana, and hiking along the Buckhorn Trail is pleasant fun. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Factory Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Massie's Creek; going for a hike along the Possum Hollow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. A round of golf at nearby Woodland Golf Club is a magnificent way to kill some time, and what would winter be without some skiing at Mad River.                  Why not camp at Meadow Lake Resort while you're here at Factory Pond, and camping at Factory Pond is fine fun, Hidden Oakes Campground is a fine local campground. Get soaked paddling on Little Miami River; you'll perhaps meet some folks from Urbana here.
