If the weather is magnificent here at Evans Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pine Ridge Trail; there are plenty of folks from Youngstown-Warren-Boardman here at Evans Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Evans Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Flying Finn Family Campground is a glorious       local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Fairfield Inn Youngstown Boardman/Poland is a delightful choice. At Evans Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Evans Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Be careful coming to Evans Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again.                  The Dogwood Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Evans Lake, and Burgess Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. From a precipitation point of view Evans Lake is a reasonably common place; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Little Beaver Creek; a lake nearby is Collier Lake. After a long day outdoors Boardman Red Roof Inn is a fine site to spend a night or two. There is a good hiking trail next to Evans Lake called the Vondergreen Trail, and golf can be played at Reserve Run Golf Course. Little Beaver Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and an interesting thing to go to in the vicinity of Evans Lake is Evans Lake Dam.   Boardman Red Roof Inn, Poland A great location for business and sports travelers.
