For the period of the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Evans Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Evans Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Evans Lake without first going for a hike along the Dogwood Trail, and the scenery at Evans Lake Dam is wonderful. The amount of rain that falls at Evans       Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A great place to camp here at Evans Lake is Terrace Lakes Campground, and there's glorious hiking along the Vondergreen Trail. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable things to do near Evans Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Burgess Lake is near Evans Lake, and if you're dropping by from Youngstown-Warren-Boardman,                  you won't be the only one. Go for a hike on the Pine Ridge Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Little Beaver Creek offers some nice whitewater. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Beaver Creek, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Reserve Run Golf Course. Evans Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Flying Finn Family Campground is a splendid local campground; obviously Burgess Run flows through this vicinity. Fairfield Inn By Marriott Youngstown is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. This is a brilliant vicinity for folks who like lakes.
