Many people like to go to Emerald Lake. The annual precipitation here at Emerald Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Wicked Woods Golf Club, and folks from Akron love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Emerald Lake. Emerald Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Windrush Hollow Camp is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Quail Hollow Resort. A day on the slopes of Alpine Valley is just what you need, and Pine Lake is a brilliant lake close by. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Emerald Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at
Emerald Lake dip into the 10's. Going for a hike on the Erie Trail is always a delightful adventure; if you came to camp Camp Ho Mita KODA is a good place to do that. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Creek, and there are splendid spots to look at along the Beach Trail.
