East Branch Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. On a glorious day at East Branch Reservoir you can take a hike along the Erie Trail, and camping is available at Windrush Hollow Camp. At East Branch Reservoir Dam near East Branch Reservoir there are some attention-grabbing things to see. the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Big Creek, and Alpine Valley is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at East Branch Reservoir and you like golf,
you can stop at Grandview Golf Club; after a long day outdoors Quail Hollow Resort is a delightful place to spend a night or two. You could also explore Sperry Pond if you're here at East Branch Reservoir; it's nearby; going for a
hike on the Beach Trail is always a great adventure. Don't forget to take a great little spree to Tare Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Papa Joe's Family Campground is a great place to camp. Get drenched paddling on Paine Creek; there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Iroquois Trail.

Lake Estabrook
 | What's left of the lake is on Rt 700, NE of Parkman, OH at Latitude: 412256N and Longitude: 0810431W. Around yr 2000, the dam at the West end of the lake broke and the lake drained. All that's left is the creek that was originally dammed to make the lake, along with the broken dam. Camp Chicagami is a Boy Scout camp located on the shore of where the lake used to be. It was about a 30 acre lake, and it's a shame that it's gone now.... |

La Due Reservoir
 | This is a relatively large lake (1500 acres) located in NE Ohio, at the intersection of state Rt 422 and Rt 44. The lake is managed by the Ohio Division of Wildlife. There are no camps or parks on the shore of the lake. The lake is part of the city of Akron water supply system. Access to the lake is limited to boating/fishing, and gasoline motors are not allowed. If you want to fish this lake, bring two trolling batteries as the lake is large. Fish to be caught include largemouth bass, crappie (white and black), channel catfish, yellow perch, bluegill, walleye and the occasional northern pike (rare, but according to the boathouse attendant, there are a few in the lake).... |
