If you came to camp Lake Hill Campground is a splendid place to do that; at Dunlap Lake Dam next to Dunlap Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Paint Creek, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Brush Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Hawthorn Loop Trail, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Circleville is a perfect place to spend a night

| | or two. A lake nearby is Dunlap Pond Number Three, and Dunlap Lake is not far at all from Chillicothe. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Dunlap Lake. Deer Creek Resort is a glorious location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Dunlap Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Deer Creek Camping Resort is a great place for that. could take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. From a precipitation point of view Dunlap Lake is a pretty common place; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when
it's the driest. Throughout the long summer days at Dunlap Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Dunlap Lake sink into the 10's.

Volley ball at the beach... Deluxe Cabin (no pets allowed)... ... campground, to provide for a safe and peaceful environment for all our guests, alcohol is not allowed. We also do not allow anyone to bring in their own fire wood, to prevent the spread of pests, especially the Emerald Ash Borer.
Our campground is situated on 65 acres of forested hills, with only 20 acres being developed into the campground. We offer large, private, shady sites, most with FHU, some sites upgraded to 50amp. This campground is not for those who prefer the resort quality accomidations, we are a bit more laid back. We don't have manicured lawns, but in the spring, the profussion of wild flowers sprinkled liberally in the grass almost make it a crime to mow it. (But we do!) We don't have meticuously maintained grounds that allow for the maximum number of sites per square feet, stacked up like dominoes ready to fall. We have large roomy sites that allow more of the feeling of camping in the great outdoors alone.

Tanglewood Acres
 | 19 miles away While the new gentleman running Tanglewood Acres are keeping the horse camp open, the camp does not seem to be pulling in as many horseback riders as they had hoped. Could this be due to the economy? Gas prices have gone down, and with the rains of this summer, they are hoping the trails will be dry the months of August/ September/October for some beautiful riding. The local OHC county has maintained the trails for some time. Let's not waste these trail in our Ohio Parks. ... |
