Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Duck Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Duck Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Maples is always a fine experience, and a quick spree to Plum Creek is unquestionably a perfect idea. Dry       warm beds await you at Elyria Howard Johnson Inn; lakes are such serene places, why not have a look at Oberlin Reservoir. Super 8 Motel - Elyria is a brilliant site to get some rest, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Vermilion River. Duck Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. You just can't envision                  the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area right next door to Duck Pond has to offer.
