If you are in Muskingum county it's always a good idea to stop by Diehr Lake. Diehr Lake Dam has great water scenery and it's close to Diehr Lake. There's so much to do here at Diehr Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wild Bill's Resort is a great spot for that. Licking River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there are other sites here than Diehr Lake, for example Avondale Wildlife Area Reservoir Number Two. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Wild Cat Hollow Hiking Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Zanesville Super 8 Motel is a splendid choice. Whitewater paddling is good on Wakatomica Creek, and going for a hike along the Buckeye Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Diehr Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.

but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Diehr Lake. If you came to camp Wolfie's Family Camping is a great place to do that, and there's some flowing water close by, Buckeye Fork is a stream you can stop by while here.
This lake is so wonderful. Avondale Wildlife Area Reservoir Number One is a wonderful lake in close proximity to Diehr Lake, and a great close by hotel is Travelodge Of Zanesville. Throughout the summertime at Diehr Lake highs are
generally in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Diehr Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.
