Di-Or Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Jackson-Days Inn; fine hiking is available along the Deer Hollow Trail. Since you're here at Di-Or Pond why not explore Franklin Valley, and don't leave Di-Or Pond without first going for a hike along the Old Pine Trail. You can take a little trip to Di-Or Pond Dam if you're here at Di-Or Pond; there are pleasant locations to explore along the Acorn

Di-Or Pond is a good spot of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Di-Or Pond. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 30's while Di-Or Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
