At Deweese Ponds during the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Deweese Ponds all through the wintertime regularly plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Burning Tree Golf Course is always a joy, and Deweese Ponds is wonderful enough to       spend more than a day at, Buckeye Lake/Columbus East KOA is a wonderful local campground. Be careful coming to Deweese Ponds, you might not ever want to return home again. Get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Hocking River. Why not go to Sellers Point also since you're here, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Buckeye Lake. From a rain point of view Deweese Ponds is a reasonably normal site; most of the rain falls during July, and                  the driest month of the year is October. Why not stop by nearby Bell Run since you're here at Deweese Ponds, and a pleasant location to camp here at Deweese Ponds is Port Lounge and Campground.
