Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Spicy Run Mountain; you'll meet a lot of people from Chillicothe here. This lake is so wonderful. Crawley Lake is right by the Fort Trail; camping is available at L B Camping. All through the warm months highs here at Crawley Lake get into the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; night lows at Crawley Lake during the wintertime typically descend

In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Paint Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Paint Creek Lake. This place, Crawley Lake, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Rocky Fork Creek. Lakes? Sure, Paint Creek Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. the Wildwood Trail is splendid fun, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Valley Vista Golf Course. From a rainfall point of view Crawley Lake is a rather common site; May is when you get the most rain
here, and January on the other hand is the driest. You can take a little spree to Crawley Lake Dam since you're here at Crawley Lake, and camping at Tanglewood Acres is always a perfect experience.

 | While the new gentleman running Tanglewood Acres are keeping the horse camp open, the camp does not seem to be pulling in as many horseback riders as they had hoped. Could this be due to the economy? Gas prices have gone down, and with the rains of this summer, they are hoping the trails will be dry the months of August/ September/October for some beautiful riding. The local OHC county has maintained the trails for some time. Let's not waste these trail in our Ohio Parks. ... |

Here at Lake Hill campground, to provide for a safe and peaceful environment for all our guests, alcohol is not allowed. We also do not allow anyone to bring in their own fire wood, to prevent the spread of pests, especially the Emerald Ash Borer.
Our campground is situated on 65 acres of forested hills, with only 20 acres being developed into the campground. We offer large, private, shady sites, most with FHU, some sites upgraded to 50amp. This campground is not for those who prefer the resort quality accomidations, we are a bit more laid back. We don't have manicured lawns, but in the spring, the profussion of wild flowers sprinkled liberally in the grass almost make it a crime to mow it. (But we do!) We don't have meticuously maintained grounds that allow for the maximum number of sites per square feet, stacked up like dominoes ready to fall. We have large roomy sites that allow more of the feeling of cam... |

The camp store is well stocked and prices are very reasonable. Security is a high priority and 24/7. We love it here and recomend highly.... |
