This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Days Inn Ashland; there are some great whitewater spots on Kokosing River. Coy Lake is not far at all from Mount Vernon. Coy Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Wally world Resort is a great local campground; do stop at Mohawk       Reservoir, it's a scenic lake. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Coy Lake has it all. Odell Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to see at Coy Lake Dam in close proximity to Coy Lake. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Millersburg is a nice choice, and what would winter be without some skiing at Clear Fork. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Coy Lake; the month with                  most of the rain is July, and January meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Coy Lake all through the summer months are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
