If you are in Clinton county it's always a good idea to stop by Cowan Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Cowan Lake. There's pleasant hiking along the Beechnut Loop Trail, and golf can be played at Majestic Springs Golf Course. A normal amount of rain falls here at Cowan Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most; January is the month with the least moisture. | | hike along the Lakeview Trail, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Wilmington here.
This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Baymont Inn & Suites Wilmington, and you can stay the night at Green Meadows Campgrounds. The Dogwood Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Caesar Creek. For the period of the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Cowan Lake. summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Cowan Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
There's some exciting stuff to spot at Cowan
Lake Dam close to Cowan Lake. There's so much to do here at Cowan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beechwood Acres Camping is a fine spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Second Creek has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn WILMINGTON is a pleasant choice.
