The beauty of Cowan Lake attracts many people from all around. Take a hike on the Lakeview Trail. Lakes? Sure, Baptist Foundation Lake is in the vicinity. Summer at Cowan Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, generally in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cowan Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Beechnut Loop Trail is magnificent

| | fun; not far from Cowan Lake you'll discover Chiefs Lake which is a pretty lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Beechwood Acres Camping is a brilliant site to do that, and Majestic Springs Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. is a tremendous choice. You don’t have to go far from Cowan Lake to spot the water at Cowan Lake Dam. There's so much to do here at Cowan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Green Meadows Campgrounds is a brilliant location
for that.
If you're stopping by Cowan Lake from Wilmington, you won't be the only one, and a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Second Creek. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Cowan Lake; July is the wettest
month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Going for a hike along the Dogwood Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn WILMINGTON.
