While you're here at Cook Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Columbus, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lancaster is a delightful location to get some rest. There are other spots here than Cook Pond, for example Moe Pond; why not take a refreshing hike along the Squawroot Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. So many fun things near Cook Pond, completely tremendous. Cook Pond is in close proximity       to Cook Pond Dam which is a beautiful place positively worth visiting, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hocking River. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cook Pond; Sassafras Horse Trail is a great local trail; enjoy a round of golf at Westchester Golf Course. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cook Pond has to offer, you can camp at Jackson Lake Park; dry warm beds await you at Amerihost Inn - Lancaster. Cook Pond is a good spot of                  typical rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. At Cook Pond during the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cook Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
