This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Comstock Pond you can take a hike along the Beaver Pond Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Forest Hills Golf Course is in the neighborhood. This is a splendid area for people who like lakes. Wildlife Pond 9417-001 is a lake in the neighborhood, and Burr Oak Cove Campground is a good campground nearby. At Comstock Pond during the summer       months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Comstock Pond through the winter mostly descend into the 10's. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to observe at Comstock Pond Dam in close proximity to Comstock Pond, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Broken Rock Trail. An average amount of rainfall falls at Comstock                  Pond; July is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month. James J Cotter's Camping is a brilliant local campground; people from Athens love to come here. But wait, there's more to do next to Comstock Pond. Take a hike on the Wild Cat Hollow Hiking Trail. Lakes are good; Halley Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Comstock Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
