Lake Dam.
This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Pike Lake, and camping is available at L B Camping. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Christian Union Church Lake; Fort Trail is a perfect local trail. Lakes? Sure, Lake Hill is in the vicinity. If you need a location to stay AmeriStay Waverly is a wonderful choice, and Lookout
Point is a delightful place to go to while in the neighborhood.
Christian Union Church Lake is a good spot of common precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is
so wonderful. Camping at Tanglewood Acres is always a delightful experience; Comfort Inn Chillicothe is a good site to get some rest. Waverly Golf Club is a tremendous golf course nearby, and obviously Minnehan Run is a beautiful stream that is worth going to.

Tanglewood Acres
 | While the new gentleman running Tanglewood Acres are keeping the horse camp open, the camp does not seem to be pulling in as many horseback riders as they had hoped. Could this be due to the economy? Gas prices have gone down, and with the rains of this summer, they are hoping the trails will be dry the months of August/ September/October for some beautiful riding. The local OHC county has maintained the trails for some time. Let's not waste these trail in our Ohio Parks. ... |

...mily campground in the hills of southern Ohio. We are located in Frankfort, next to the Tricounty Triangle Trail/Adena Recreational Trail, along side of the North Fork Paint Creek.
We are just 10 miles northwest of Chillicothe, in the hills of southern Ohio, surrounded by a diverse forest of hardwood trees. The tree canopy provides an abundance of shade in the summer to our campground and sites, as well as a home to many different species of birds and wildlife. The sites overlooking the creek and ravine provide the best area for bird watching. This is a quiet, peaceful, family campground, away from the noises of the city and roads.
Here at Lake Hill campground, to provide for a safe and peaceful environment for all our guests, alcohol is not allowed. We also do not allow anyone to bring in their own fire wood, to prevent the spread of pests, especially the Emerald Ash Borer.
Our campground is situated on 65 acres of forested hills, with only 20 acres being developed into the campground. We offer large, private, shady sites, most with FHU, some sites upgraded to 5... |

The camp store is well stocked and prices are very reasonable. Security is a high priority and 24/7. We love it here and recomend highly.... |
