A good place to camp here at Chiefs Lake is Thousand Trails, and at Chiefs Lake you always meet someone from Wilmington. Some close by water includes East Fork Todd Fork, and a splendid nearby hotel is Holiday Inn WILMINGTON. Chiefs Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.

golf at Majestic Springs Golf Course. Baymont Inn & Suites Wilmington is a delightful spot to get some rest, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Second Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The Dogwood Trail is a tremendous
hiking trail in the vicinity of Chiefs Lake, and do take a look at Chiefs Lake Dam if you're here.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Chiefs Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Chiefs Lake.
