At Chateau Lakes Dam Number Two in close proximity to Chateau Lakes Number Two there are some interesting things to see, and golf can be played at Woodland Golf Course Woodland. Skiing at Perfect North is one of those things you just have to do, and lakes are such calm spots, why not check out Chateau Lakes Number One. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A beautiful lake like Dream Valley Lake close to Chateau Lakes Number Two is a good location to pop by, and get covered with water paddling on Great Miami River.

| Having paddled the 70 miles of the Great Miami, the WW is great for beginners or rec paddlers wanting to have a little excitement added to their trip. Water Quality is good, in fact it can be better then the Little Miami during low water. Best time to hit the GM is when it is running between 2500cfs and 3800cfs (Hamilton USGS gage if your looking for some WW. There isn't too many places in the summer in the Midwest you can find good water and waves, but the Great Miami still flows well in August....50 hole is not much of a surf and it is a porta john....... |

wow thats crazy......r it knock our butts out of the boat .were going down the creek with the canoe upside down . there is no getting your footing . we finally got to a calm spot i guess a deep pool were we could get to the bank flip the canoe upright and proceed again it wasnt very long til the same type of deal happend again this time leaving the canoe pinned against a tree. the water was rushing in were you could not free it. finally tin worked it free the canoe spun out in the creek he had a hold on the rope that was tied to the front. well the rope broke there goes the canoe and we are not in it. tim swims after it like tarzan and catches it .we got it turn upright and notice that the canoe has a hole about the size of a softball in the bottom. need less to say a canoe that has a hole that big is not easy to ride in the water in the bottom made it really unstable we would have to stop and dunp the water out every few minutes. finally we decided to put my shirt plus my big butt over the hole and thats how we made it through. it was a geat ride through pretty country but i was glad when my strech of... |
