Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Cedar Lakes temperatures dip to the 10's. You can run the rapids of Hershel Run right next door to Cedar Lakes; Red R Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Cincinnati-Middletown       come to Cedar Lakes; going for a hike on the Southwoods Trail is always a great adventure. Cedar Lakes is good enough to spend more than a day at, Miami Trails Hoa is a good local campground, and the Beechtree Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. Near Cedar Lakes you come across a golf course called Eagle's Nest Golf Club; nearby you stumble on the Lakeview Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Cedar Lakes is a reasonably wet place frequently with a lot of precipitation; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Horner Run, and while you're here, you could also go to delightful Fairacres Lake.
